School Shopping Yuk!
Well got almost all of my school shopping done. Still need the school supplies and shoes for the kids than we are done. Found a dress for Rozalynn and an outfit for me for Brent's wedding. Now I just need to find something for Keanul and we'll be set. Not much going on here. Jarad's last night with us. Mark and Rhonda get back tomorrow sometime. It's been fun having him stay with us. He's been keeping Keanul busy which is great for me. Summer is almost done and that means boredom. Mom I'm bored! can we go somewhere, can we do something, can we, can we, there's nothing to do. I can't wait for school back up. The kids need to get back on a schedule and it's a great structure for them. Not to mention it's get for me too.

Well school is just around the corner. Rozalynn is getting excited to return. She can't wait to be in 2nd grade. I can't believe she's going into second grade already. Keanul on the other hand, not so excited. He will be in 8th grade this year hard to believe. I hope that this year will go alot smoother than last year for him. I hate grounding him for his grades, but come on it's not that hard to get good grades or average grades. He's very smart. Just very lazy. You almost got to light a fire under his butt to get him going. I find taking away the Xbox is an okay strategy, but sometime it doesn't faze him at all. We might have to try something different this year. If you got any ideas just fly them this way.
I can't believe the cost of going to school is. It will be almost $90 to register the kids and get pictures taken. See how they take pictures the same day as registration. That not including if Keanul wants to sign up for any sports this year though school. The year book for Keanul is an additional $22.00. And that doesn't include school supplies and school clothes. I know it will only get worse as they get older. I'm just venting. Who's decision was it to have kids?(lol ) just joking.
So tomorrow I'll be going shopping to see if I can find any deals on clothes. I am still searching for an outfit for myself for the wedding. Oh and searching for everyone else too. I was showing Keanul a pair of dress/casual shoes. And he let me know that I would just be wasting my money, because he doesn't like to wear those type of shoes. So I had to inform him that no he will not be wearing tennis shoes/ sneakers at the wedding. So then he informed that he'd only be wearing them once. Boy, don't they just know how to push your buttons and send you over the edge!
Well on that note, I'm going to get ready for bed. Getting tired. Have a good night everyone.

Well it's Friday. Another week gone by. Like I said early this week Jarad are nephew is staying with us. Him and Keanul have been keeping themselves busy. Jarad got a canoe so they went fishing yesterday, and they got up early this morning to go fishing. Jarad was telling me the other day that he got to be a cashier instead of a bagger. He works at Woodman's Grocery store.
I remember when I was a teenager I work at various place. My first job was working in a Chinese restaurant, busgirl. My second job was the best; I worked in an ice cream parlor. Talk about yummy!! So I must say I know how to make a mean shake or malt. My third job was being a cashier at NewMart in Janesville when I was 17. I did like that job, but the grocery store went out of busy. Oh to be a teenager again! Spend your money where ever you want to. Not to have a care in the world. Not to worry about bills!
But I wouldn't want to relive my teenage years. It was not that pleasant. It was a hard age.

Well, Yesterday Roz and Rick took Rhonda and Mark to the airport. Roz told me her adventure to the airport and how 2 airplanes flew right at her and dad. But no worries the airplanes miss them. After leaving the airport they got to stop at the McDonald overpass. Which she thinks is cool to see all the cars drive underneath. Jarad is with for the week. Rozalynn is so excited. Keanul is to, but he doesn't express it like Rozalynn does.

Well Rita and Gale are gone. They left this morning. I had a great weekend with them. It was nice seeing Gale we don't get to see him as often as we do Rita. Can't wait for the wedding. I was telling Rita it will be like a little family reunion. Not much going on today. Went into work early. woohoo!! Which I will be going in early tomorrow to. boo! For back up reasons. One of the lady call off today so my boss wants to make sure we have coverage tomorrow. So that would mean me, seeing how no one else knows the job. Sometimes you wonder is it really good to know it all and be a good worker? I think not. lol.
So I was thinking to myself today. Damn Eve. She just had to pick that fruit and eat it. She just couldn't leave it alone. She just couldn't admire it from afar! As Flow is in town, another uninvited guess, and it is not pretty. If she didn't eat the fruit could you just image what life would be like. Pain free, no cramps, no bloating, no crying at stupid commerical, just bless. We could just sit in the garden watching the day go by with no worries. We wouldn't be as irritated with our family. Just a little bit, but not as much. Because you know the kids wouldn't pick up after themselves still. Just enjoying life.
We are looking forward to our nephew coming and staying with us. Our sister (Rhonda) and her husband (Mark) are going to Nicaragua for a week on a missionary trip. I pray that the Lord looks over you. You guys have a safe and fun trip. Rhonda don't think about the bugs. (lol) Love you guys. I'll see you when you get back. Say hi to Mitch, Renee, Roger, and Rhonda for us.
Well I am tired too long of a day for me.

The Unknown
It's sometimes scary when you don't know what's going to happen next. The unknown of what tomorrow brings. The test, the bump in the road, of your faith, your marriage, your life. Not knowing just drive you mad. I remember and something that sticks in my head is something that Mitch Clay had said. One of are dear and most beloved friend of the family, " We as a society always want everything now." " We do not look at the big picture." " We want, what we want on our time." "But, we need to wait to see if it is God time." " God time is not insink with ours!" " God's time is his time."
We need to live for today not for tomorrow. We need to look at what today brought us. What great things that God has done for us today. I think as a society or just as human beings we are so use to looking at all the negatives first and seeing the good second. So in this big picture I think at the present time Rick and I are struggling to makes ends. But I faith that we are meant for big better things. I think that God is testing Rick and I being so early in our marriage. Can they make though the tough times. Can we make though the bad and ugly. Still have our love for one and other, our faith and love in the Lord. I think to myself there are a lot of things that I want, but is it what I need? I don't think I need it just yet, because God hasn't gave the okay. The unknown is scary only if you let it be! Just keep your head high, have faith, and just pray. God will pave the way.

Gosh today is Thursday already! Where has the week gone? Well on Tuesday the 31st was my honey's and I wedding anniversary. I can't believes it's been 8 years already. I can't believe in a couple of weeks we have been together for for 11 years. I can still remember our first date like it was yesterday. We went to see a movie and go for dinner. It was not the best 1st date. One the movie was horrible it was "Bordello's Blood" (Rick pick this out). Rick loses his wallet in the theater (which I thought what a cheap s.o.b.) so I payed for supper. Later I come to find out he loses his wallet alot! Our second date wasn't the greatest either; how did we manage to stay together only God's know..(lol). We went to Chinatown in Chicago with my mother and some of her friends. I learn that Rick has never had authentic Chinese food. Well let just say it open Rick's eye to a new take on Chinese food (not in a good way either). I did not know Rick was not eating that much. That he was starving until on our way back he stop at a McDonnell's overpass. I think our first couple months of dating was a bit bumpy, alittle rocky. But after that it's been smooth sailing for us. I think we are a match made on heaven. I still feel as if we are newlyweds. He still make me feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world. We have the best relationship that I could ever imagine. He is definitely my best friend, the best father to our children, and the love of my life. I could not imagine my life with out him. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the future.
So to Rick I just want to say " I love you More!"
