Not much going on here. Roz and I are just watching a movie "Spy Kids 3". Rick is sleeping. Keanul is out and about with his cousin Jarad and Jarad's friend Brandon. Hope they are behaving themselves. As I sit here I think to myself. It is here! He is a teenager!! I hope the troubling years aren't coming. You know the nail biting, hair pulling, pacing back and forth, where is he, years!

It probably has nothing to do with him. My birthday is around the corner. Another year gone by. Every birthday I feel as if it's another day. When your a child your birthday is exciting and fun. As a teenager your counting your birthdays until the day you get your drives licences. Then you can't wait to be eighteen, because than you are an adult. You can vote! Your parents can't tell you what to do any more. You are your own person. Then you wait until your 21!! WooHooo you can drink, legally! As a kid there was always something to look forward to. How come we lose are spark in birthday. Instead of getting excited; we get the birthday blues.

So, one of these years for my birthday what I really want to do is go see either Oprah or Ellen. With my family and friends. Oprah we can just drive. And Ellen we would have to fly. What fun that would be! That would put excitement back into birthdays.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness, it's easier said than done. As I was having supper at Jeani's house late week. Mitch are beloved friend is up from Texas for a visit. We were talking about something, and somehow I made a comment about my mother. I must have sounded bitter. Mitch simply said, "Forgive". I have been thinking about that simple word since. I thought I have forgave, but maybe deep down I have not. So that is just something I need to keep working on. Slowly, but surely.

On another note I spoke to my father last night. In request of my mother. She is applying for her citizenship. She's been in this country for the past 33 years legally. In my opinion she is one. But she needed to find out some information from him. So I am the goat. As I was asking him questions regarding the date they were married and the date they got divorced. I was thinking to myself " Why don't they know this?" Why wouldn't you remember those dates?" As my father mumbles some dates off, and says " I think those are it!" I also asked him, "How did you and mom meet?" Silence.. a long pause. He said "He couldn't remember, and that he can't remember every women he dated or married." I think to myself, and I just want to say, "What? Are you serious!" How can you not remember your first marriage. A women that you had 2 kids with. That you married, and you can not remember how you meet her. I don't get it. Seriously! See how hard it is to Forgive. Not just my mother, but my father as well.

Roz!!!

Last week was teacher conferences for Rozalynn. I'm please to say she is doing well. She is right on task. Just need to keep reading her take home books. Practice, practice, practice! It was also parents week at her dance studio. She is taking tap and jazz this year. She is just loving dance. It is great to see her improvement each year. It's amazing to watch her grow before my eyes. She is blossoming into a young girl. As she has asked Grandma not to buy her any more baby toys, because she is not a baby no more.
Yesterday I was able to make Rozalynn's Halloween parade at school. She was an elegant princess. A beautiful costume that I found at Crackle Barrel. It was a long pink dress with a gold belt and glitter gold short train. It had a cute princess hat. She looked absolutely beautiful. It was cold last night for trick or treating. I froze for my daughter as we walked for 2 hours to get precious candy treats; she owes me one. Oh what we do for our children.

Sleeping Giant

The Sleeping Giant. This is one of the amazing image that I got to see in Montana. Wonderful is it not? I got Rick a t-shirt and Rita found a pair of boxer shorts. The shorts in the front says sleeping giant and the back says no snoring. Rick got a kick out of them.
Mom got back home from the hospital today. The doctors think it was some of her medicine causing her kidneys to shut down. So they will be some readjusting in her meds. So I hope and pray that everything stays good.

Well seeing how I haven't posted in forever! I thought I should. I'll start off with my trip to Montana. Which was awesome. I had a great time I must say. Rita and Gale were the most perfect hosts ever! Love you guys. Thanks so much for having me and letting me enjoy your beautiful home. The scenery was breath taking. The mountains are indescribably gorgeous and calming. And if you ever make it out to Montana you have to stop at The Parrot. It is a candy shop that has the most unbelievable candies ever and good chili. mmm!! Which Rick and the kids enjoyed. I found my trip to Montana peaceful really. The scenery brings you tranquillity and serenity. I can see why Rita and Gale love it there, and why the population in Helena is growing. I can also see why the deer population is growing in town as well. The train ride was okay. It was like being on a boat. The swaying motion. The observation cart was neat. The food was good, but pricey. Do you ever find yourself just observing other people? The people on the train were quit interesting. I'll just leave it at that. Although Mary and I did see Jesus on the train. Well a man that looked like Jesus anyway. lol. Seriously he did.

Rick's mom was admitted into the hospital yesterday. Her kidneys are not working the way they should. So they are keeping her until they know whats going on. She may have to do dialysis. Nothing for sure yet; we'll keep you posted.

Well I think I have everything?! I love going on vacation, but I hate packing for one. You always have a hard time deciding what you want to bring. Than you wonder do I have everything I want to bring! But either or I think I am ready to go. Rhonda and her lovely husband,Mark, well be here tomorrow at 1:30 to pick me up. Mark has graciously volunteer to drive us to the train station tomorrow. So I have movies, an audio book, magazines, junk food, and some healthy snacks too for our long train trip. Oh and yes I am ready for some girl time. The laughing and giggling like school girls. As the butterflies are dancing in my stomach with excitement and anticipation. I must try to get some rest. The one thing that I will miss is my lovely family. My handsome husband and my two beautiful children. This is only my second vacation without them. I know I will miss them greatly. So to them I just want to say " I Love You More!!" and I be back next Thursday. Hugs and kisses, hugs and kisses.
So Rick don't forget to pick us up at 1 o'clock..lol.

Montana!!

Well, I'm getting excited about my trip to Montana. I will be leaving in 2 days. I will be accompanied by my sister, mom, and aunt. It should be fun as we travel by Amtrak. My first time on a train and first time to Montana. I'm not sure what is on the agenda. I think we are just winging it. It's best when you don't have everything planned when your on vacation. One of the things my husband said I should look for is the Sleeping Giant. He says it's very neat. I will be sure to post my adventure when I get back.
On another note. Yesterday was my mother's birthday. She is now 53 year's old, but she doesn't look a day over 35! Roz and I went and picked out her gift last night. I know last minute shopper! I got her this very soft throw, and Roz picked out the color. So we went and dropped it off at her house. I liked the throw so much that I picked one up for myself. I can bring it on the train.
Well need to finish making supper than I need to take Roz to dance class.
