My son (Keanul) finished his last day of hunters safety yesterday. He is so excited for it to be done. Now he can go hunting with grandpa and his cousins. He did so well!! On his written test he got 34 out of 40 right. For his field test he did great. For his practice shots, you get 2 shots, he got them both in the bulls eye. I'm just think to myself "Oh God! he has a gun! I hope he doesn't shot his foot! or his eye!" You know like in the movies "The Christmas Story." " You'll shot your eye out kid!" Then they get to shoot 5 clay pigeons, Keanul got 4 out of 5!! No injuries and no one injured. (lol) I am so proud of him. I remember the first day of class just like anything else that has the word class. He wasn't to hip on the idea. But I reminded him that he has to do this in order to go hunting. I was hoping that he didn't want to do this. Not to hip on the guns. I'm glad he did because one he learned the safeties of guns, two it's something that he looks as if he's pretty good at, and three he loves it. And if he likes it, who am I to stand in the way of something that he likes. I'll only stand in the way when he doesn't get good grades!! Than no hunting for him....lol

What an accomplishment!
It does make me feel a little tiny bit better knowing they've went through a class.
