Well school is just around the corner. Rozalynn is getting excited to return. She can't wait to be in 2nd grade. I can't believe she's going into second grade already. Keanul on the other hand, not so excited. He will be in 8th grade this year hard to believe. I hope that this year will go alot smoother than last year for him. I hate grounding him for his grades, but come on it's not that hard to get good grades or average grades. He's very smart. Just very lazy. You almost got to light a fire under his butt to get him going. I find taking away the Xbox is an okay strategy, but sometime it doesn't faze him at all. We might have to try something different this year. If you got any ideas just fly them this way.
I can't believe the cost of going to school is. It will be almost $90 to register the kids and get pictures taken. See how they take pictures the same day as registration. That not including if Keanul wants to sign up for any sports this year though school. The year book for Keanul is an additional $22.00. And that doesn't include school supplies and school clothes. I know it will only get worse as they get older. I'm just venting. Who's decision was it to have kids?(lol ) just joking.
So tomorrow I'll be going shopping to see if I can find any deals on clothes. I am still searching for an outfit for myself for the wedding. Oh and searching for everyone else too. I was showing Keanul a pair of dress/casual shoes. And he let me know that I would just be wasting my money, because he doesn't like to wear those type of shoes. So I had to inform him that no he will not be wearing tennis shoes/ sneakers at the wedding. So then he informed that he'd only be wearing them once. Boy, don't they just know how to push your buttons and send you over the edge!
Well on that note, I'm going to get ready for bed. Getting tired. Have a good night everyone.

Each age has its challenges, huh? One day it's diapers and learning not to push your little brother over, the next it's affording all the school supplies and making sure they apply themselves in school! A parent's job is never done!
Yes,,, then it's pray pray pray cuz it's the only left for a parent with a grown son to do....so I pray , pray., pray....I actually tried bribing with a few buck too...afer going to the Parrot for treats wore off....like so much money for a C, so much more for a B, and an A...wow....It worked for awhile till they saw the benefits of grades themselves...I guess anything is worth a try..
