This is Rozalynn's 2nd year in basketball. Boy, does her face just shine. As it does for anything she loves to do. Tonight was basketball practice. This is the first year for my husband to help coach. My daughter is quite happy about that. Roz and one other girl on the team has been in basketball the previous year. So lets just say the team need some help. But what I think is so neat about the beginning of something. You get to see the progress of it. The progress and hard work that these girls make throughout the year. It is an amazing transformation. I am glad and proud to be apart of this.

My son started swim team last night. Because he is 5'11" and only about 125 pounds, you can imagine that he has never been into macho sports. We introduced him to swimming when he was in 3rd grade, and even though he was a natural, he soon tired of it. Since my husband was a swimmer/diver in high school, we hoped that he would one day come back to it. Needless to say, we are thrilled that he is giving it another go as a sophomore. His coach, after watching him last night, moved him up two lanes and told him he should have been swimming on the team last year. I'm so excited! I share your excitement, and I'm happy that your husband is involved in your daughter's life this way; it will mean a lot to her (now and always). Your family is blessed.
