Bats!!!

Bats!!! yuk!! On Saturday night well early Sunday morning which ever you want to look at. We get an uninvited visitor. Yeah that's right a BAT!! As Rick and I are watching a movie in are room I see a flicker go by. So I look around I see nothing. Then another flicker I look to see if the boys are by are bedroom door. Maybe they are playing a prank. The third flicker I see the shadow of a bat! Hitting my husband in the shoulder thinking to myself "he can't see this". Not knowing he was sleeping. Honey! honey! there a bat!! He jumps up and say no way! I am like yeah.. freaking out, I hate creatures... not a big fan of bats. I swear that the events after that could have been a comedy skit off of Saturday Night Live. As Rick is trying to get dress. Because he said he couldn't kill a bat in his underwear he feels to vulnerable. Then he is throwing our dirty laundry at the bat. I'm thinking that's going to do some harm! The bat finally leaves are room and goes into the living room. As soon as the bat and Rick leaves I shut the door and cover the bottom with a blanket. All I could do is laugh, because I could hear Rick on the other side of the door.. just cussing and ranting. Thank God are nephew ( Jarad) was over he hit the bat with my daughter's toy guitar. That's something for the memory books!! Darn old houses.

Yikes! That's insane! I'm pretty sure I'd be hitting Brian and making him take of the bat if it was in our house. Hope that's the last of that kind of visitor.

I am quite surprised you did not run for head cover (a hat) with all that long beautiful hair you have.
I am always afraid bats will get tangled up in my hair and be squeeling on my head.
Not that I have had any first hand experience with the situation.
You know movies always portray things like that in a terrible senario.

UCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
