Gosh today is Thursday already! Where has the week gone? Well on Tuesday the 31st was my honey's and I wedding anniversary. I can't believes it's been 8 years already. I can't believe in a couple of weeks we have been together for for 11 years. I can still remember our first date like it was yesterday. We went to see a movie and go for dinner. It was not the best 1st date. One the movie was horrible it was "Bordello's Blood" (Rick pick this out). Rick loses his wallet in the theater (which I thought what a cheap s.o.b.) so I payed for supper. Later I come to find out he loses his wallet alot! Our second date wasn't the greatest either; how did we manage to stay together only God's know..(lol). We went to Chinatown in Chicago with my mother and some of her friends. I learn that Rick has never had authentic Chinese food. Well let just say it open Rick's eye to a new take on Chinese food (not in a good way either). I did not know Rick was not eating that much. That he was starving until on our way back he stop at a McDonnell's overpass. I think our first couple months of dating was a bit bumpy, alittle rocky. But after that it's been smooth sailing for us. I think we are a match made on heaven. I still feel as if we are newlyweds. He still make me feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world. We have the best relationship that I could ever imagine. He is definitely my best friend, the best father to our children, and the love of my life. I could not imagine my life with out him. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the future.
So to Rick I just want to say " I love you More!"

Happy "Late" Anniversary Rick and Sherrie! It's hard to believe that Rich and I have our 10 year ann. coming up in Jan! And he won't be here for it! :( Guess we'll just have to celebrate it when he returns to the states.
Happy anniversay....I believe the same sentiments goes for Rick, but you know guys...they sometimes dont verbally express it like us girls do...or does Rick have a blog??LOL

See ya tomorrow.

Rita
I wish to say, I have your card.
I'll give it to you tomorrow at Culvers.
I am so proud to have you two for an example to our boys of what a good marriage is.
I had a great example in Gale & Rita.
Now the tradition is passed to you & Rick.
:)
Love you!
Your love is definitely a gift worth appreciating. My husband and I, too, consider ourselves blessed (and part of a minority, as a result) because we actually still love each other after 17 years of marriage (24 years together). The more I read, the more I suspect we both live in the midwest; that's coool. Also, I am a teacher of struggling students (academically, motivationally, and behaviorally), so I'd be happy to offer any tips for helping you motivate your son this year....keep in touch....Barb
